Summary: | The garden’s trees are managed under a plan which was approved by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Tree department in 2008. |
The plan guides all the maintenance work carried out to trees in the gardens. The trees are pruned in a strict rotation - which means each tree is usually pruned every 5/6 years. All planned work to the trees is approved in advance by RBKC.
Additionally, all trees are checked annually for signs of disease or decay.
The Garden can not be held responsible for any tree, or parts of a tree, falling.
